Father McGettigin, a nephew of the last Bishop, Ireland, wishes to work in the missions in Cincinnati. He has some fine letters. For four years he was a professor in the Irish College, Paris and 12 years parish priest in the diocese of Raphoe. The bishop of Santa Fe John B. Lamy left town a few days ago. Father George McCloskey will spend some days in Rome; his health is not improved.
