He just received a letter from Bishop William H. Elder of Natchez, Mississippi who will recive him if Purcell approves. Elder wrote to Purcell who is to tell Young of his decision. He hopes Purcell will grant him the necessary recommendation. Elder's letter to Young said he was to come if Purcell approved. Father David J.
