Being well acquainted with friends and relatives of the late Father Peter J. Arnoudt, De Smet has been directed by their Provincial to write a short notice on the edifying of his life and death of the good Father. He has learned that Purcell has spoken edifyingly of his life on the occasion of his funeral.
