The Abbott writes these lines at the request of Father P. McSweeney who left Gethsemani about 3 weeks ago. He was teaching the little school boys since last September. He is a qualified teacher and has permission to say Mass and preach within the convent boundaries. He is now in St. John's hospital under the care of a surgeon who had to operate on his throat, which is in a bad state. :: II-5-c A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
