From a heart overflowing with gratitude he thanks Purcell because he has by his clemency saved his sinful soul from shipwreck. He begs Purcell to take him again under his care by replacing him in the church of All Saints. All he receives for baptisms, marriages and collections will go to help liquidate the Church debt.
