Baraga received the Statutes with the few remarks given. But he does not understand one remark—as to Statute 31, Purcell told him to look over the material prescribed. He looked over the "Decreta Conc. Prov. Cinc. I II", as Prescribed, but found nothing in regard to the above Statute.
