McNally, Wm. P., Baltimore, Maryland, to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1888 November 6
Scope and Contents
Through the kindness of Father William Corby, C.S.C., he transmits the two first volumes of the "Scholastic". He parts with them with very great regret, but knows they will be appreciated as they may be the only copies in existence. He was delighted to meet Corby who was in Baltimore to attend the consecration of Rev. John F. Foley. His sermon at Vespers has endeared him to many. McNally is hurried and is forstalled in recalling a few incidents connected with his career at Notre Dame 1862-1869. P.S. He asks if Edwards remembers him. He has been in this office Clerk's Office, Circuit Court of Baltimore 15 years. In calling him to mind just remember Brother Joseph Calasanctius that was. :: XI-1-f A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.
