Cavaroc, Charles St. Laurent College, Montreal, Canada, to James F Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1888 March 3
Scope and Contents
Friends of his father prevailed upon him to send Charles to school in Canada. He could not make satisfactory arrangements with the Jesuit College, so he entered St. Laurent. Little did he think that he would find himself in a Holy Cross establishment other than Notre Dame. Father Moses McGarry, C.S.C., the vice-president, is his best friend among the faculty. In the package accompanying the letter he sends "College Snob Papers" which he wrote and wants published in the "Scholastic". :: XI-1-f A.L.S. 8pp. 12mo.
