Brent, Emily C., Washington, D. C., to James F. Edwards, Notre Dame, Indiana, 1887 April 10

 Item — Box: CEDW 3, Folder: 04
Identifier: CEDW XI-1-e

Scope and Contents

Looking over her papers she found the old letter written to her great-uncle which might be of value. Edwards' letter gave her additional pleasure for Easter. She has been busy hanging her old portraits in her room. She would like to will the portrait of the Archbishop's Mother to the Memorial Hall, Notre Dame, and the Lord Baltimore letter, but she does not know what to do on account of her married sister. It seems that Miss Barry's uncle had a fine oil painting of Archbishop John Carroll taken by Stuart, but it was sold many years ago. They had the full Marine band at St. Peter's on Easter Sunday. :: XI-1-e A.L.S. 12pp. 12mo.
