He would be able to send Bishop Edwards Fenwick's vestment now but fears that his successors would object to his giving away the precious heirlooms of the diocese. Possibly in the change of circumstances the Catholic Historical Society might be preferred as a place of deposit and exhibition. He asks if Edwards would take them as loans subject to be recalled by the Diocese.
