Hospitals and Homes for the Aged, 1920-1995
Scope and Contents
Provincial Office files on hospitals contain background material related to the corporate structure of the hospitals, including copies of the hospitals' 1963 and 1971 articles of incorporation, by laws, board meeting minutes, master plans. Also included is correspondence with the hospitals related to hospital construction projects and legal matters. For hospitals which have been closed or sold there is much correspondence related to the sale or closure. The group of Auditor's Manangement Letters are reports from each hospitals' auditors concerning the administrative structure and financial controls of the hospital and suggestions for their improvement.
