A central provincial office served as the repository for materials collected by the Provincial Leadership related to general Province activities, and specifically for the files of the Provincial Superior. These include the minutes of meetings of the Provincial Council (later referred to simply as Provincial Leadership), minutes of the special meetings related to Sponsored Ministries; Provinicialate circular letters; Provincial correspondence; materials related to the Provinces relationship with the Generalate including Generalate Circular letters; minutes, correspondence and reports from the General Chapter and GPR meetings; copies of reports sent to the Generalate; correspondence, mailings, and reports related to activities with the Generalate and other provinces and regions of the Poor Handmaids; correspondence, mailings and reports from other Catholic organizations such as the Catholic Directory, the National Conference of Catholic Bishops and the Leadership Conference of Women Religious; and files and records related to Province activities carried out from the Motherhouse or through the Province's convents, institutions and sponsored ministries.
