General
Correspondence. Regrets not being able to attend his Thursday lecture. However, is writing because of his identification with the Gregorian. Gives a background of his research on Franz Jaegerstaetter and says that in light of his research he was greatly distressed by a recent Gregorian dissertation which identified Franz Jaegerstaetter as an example of the type of cause of canonization that might have to delayed in order to preserve ecclesiastical prudence. Says that Msgr. Sarno's assertion that Franz Jaegerstaetter was a "total pacficist" is completely wrong. Asks him as a member of the Gregorian faculty if he knows of any corrective procedures concerning how to handle this?
