Correspondence. Disappointed by Mr. Nowlan's column of May 26 on "gay rights" but for reasons opposed to the indignation expressed in recent issues. Thought he was too flippant in his discussion of proposed legislation designed to affirm and protect the rights of any individuals simply for reasons of what they are and not for any actual and punishable behavior justifying the denial of those rights.
