General
Correspondence. Says that his doctoral dissertation has been brought to Gordon's attention because of his reference to Jaegerstaetter as a "total pacifist". Thinks that this is an incorrect characterization of Jaegerstaetter. Contends that he served two periods of service in the German army before reaching the point of a conscientious objector in the war against the Nazi regime. Discusses canonization and says that while he is not promoting it for Jaegerstaetter he still hopes Monsignor Sarno reviews Franz Jaegerstaetter's case with greater care and hopes he will not make any more inaccurate assertions concerning this martyr.
