General
Correspondence. Says as promised he talked to a number of people at the NISBCO meeting about the letter Mr. Hershey had received from Selective Service. Furthermore, he says that they contended that they had not seen such a letter before, but were aware that registrations after the age of 26 were not being accepted. There have been no late registration prosecutions, so those Gordon spoke with did not share his concern that appealing the denial of benefits would be a touchy subject. However, suggests that he writes to NISBCO's staff attorney, Charles Maresca for suggestions of who he should contact for pro bono legal assistance or advice. Also suggests asking Central Committee for Conscientious Objectors.
