Amend Selective Service registration procedures to permit registrants to identify themselves as conscientious objectors. Remove alternative service from Selective Service jurisdiction. Seek to lessen the risk of repeating errors and injustices of the past. The Center would fail in its responsibility as a Catholic Organization if it did not protest the religious discrimination written into the Selective Service Law and urge for it to be corrected.
