Correspondence. Noyd writes Zahn of his desire to present the justness and value in the legal recognition of conscientious objection to a particluar war. ~ Ten years ago Captain Noyd stood ready to drop nuclear weapons. Through personal development and having been "radicalized" by the Vietnam War he embraces the legal recognition of conscientious selective objection to a particular war. While he disagrees with universal pacifism and accepts some just war criteria. Noyd believes that the best chance for selective objection to be recognized is throught the courts, and his ACLU lawyers will take his appeal all the way to the top.
