Lutz is making progress--"Now he merely accuses the protestors of failing to give 'solid reasons to doubt whether our involvement in Vietnam is just or not.'" (2) He says that silence and our airmen who carried out the massacres are to blame for the slaughter of noncombatant civilians. (3) He feels that Zahn's book proved that German bishops supported Hitler's wars.
