Statement. A statement on the play "The Deputy." ~ The NCCJ feels that there are historical inaccuracies in the play, but, it does cover some important issues. They feel that the play should be performed because it raises questions of responsibilty and the fact that the Christian community did not do what it could to end Hitler's reign.
