Says that his big news is that he just received a Simon Fellowhip for a year of study and writing at the University of Manchester. He is trying to decide on a topic of study and asks Tom for suggestions and help. Says one drawback to the fellowship is that it will put him out of the country when the Jaegerstaetter book comes out. Says that he has great hopes for this book.
