Also, says that he received word from Thurston Davis and some Jesuits not to publish the monograph. In addition, McManus mentions the great resistance in German publication and suggests publishing first in France before U.S. or British publication. One major concern is that this controversy will have an effect on the already difficult state of the Catholic Church in both Poland and Hungary.
