Journal #1. Met with Fr. Gundlach, who Gordon suspected might be responsible for the CO section of the Pope's Christmas message. He was not pleased when Gordon was describing to him the basis of his research. During their talk Gordon notes that two things became evident. The first was that Gundlach was not prepared to admit that the German Church leadership had done anything wrong and the second was that he would limit any attempt of Gordon's research by adding conditions that would make it impossible for him to continue. They also discusses his contradictory remarks about the Catholic Church, pacifism, and the Papal Christmas message.
