Journal #1. Met with Dr. Hans Bauer and his father Dr. E. Bauer. The father told of his history in the FDK. Said that when the Nazis were gaining power the Gestapo was particularly interested in finding the membership lists of the FDK, but they were destroyed, and once Hitler came to power the FDK collapsed. When Gordon asked both of them about the Jewish extermination camps they both insisted that they only knew of Dachau, Buchenwald, and Berlin Orlenberg. They also refuted the persecution of the clergy.
