Journal #1. Met with Dr. Hans Bauer, who had been the secretary of Vitus Heller, a past publicist of Wuerzburg. Bauer gave Gordon a summary of Heller's personal history. Said that when Hitler came to power, Heller's job at the paper came to an end and he was sent to Dachau. Bauer also shared with Gordon revelations about himself and how he became a pacifist and the consequences it had for him during WWII. Also talked about the underground peace activities he took part in during WWII.
