Journal #1. Met with Dr. Joseph Knecht, who identified himself as the founder of the FDK and said that the FDK's publishing house was in Frankfurt. Dr. Knecht also said that on July 1, 1933, by order of the Nazis, the FDK was dissolved and several of its leaders were arrested. This was because the FDK was judged as an enemy of the state and all of their records were taken by the Gestapo, so they had no materials by which to defend themselves.
