He also says that he is much disturbed over the lack of attention given to wartime pacifist martyrdom. In addition, says that at first Hitler made quite a play for Church support, making a distinct pretense of friendship, and by so doing won many people over. It was not until later that he showed his real intentions toward Catholicism in Germany.
