Correspondence. Zahn has been attending many plays (he just saw Anne Frank) and traveling to conduct interviews. He also bought a new watch. His old watch stopped at 4:28. He thinks it may be an omen of sorts because he has been waking up between 4:15 and 4:30 every morning and he feels that it is odd.
