Journal #1. Met with Mr. Hupgers in the morning and in the afternoon met with Dr. Solzbacher. During their discussion, Mr. Hupgers said that there was no Catholic Pacifism in WWII. He also stated that he believes that the great majority of Catholics especially Bishops, believed the war was unjust, but were unable to do anything about it. Dr. Solzbacher gave him some suggestions for contacts.
