Correspondence. Gordon says that he is still in a state of shock (re: St. John's situation). He finally found an upper deck cot in a room with three other fellows, but doesn't like it. He is still too shaken up to make friends easily. He liked St John's more than St. Thomas even though St. John's is a better school. St. John's contained a quieter study atmosphere.
