Correspondence. Gordon is receiving his discharge from the CPS. He (and other CPS men) hoped that by working at Rosewood they could help to improve the condition of the children. However, he thinks he has failed, and believes the institution needs to undergo change. He offers constructive criticism, but realizs that Dr. and Mrs. Johns are motivated by kindly intentions to help the kids.
