Correspondence. A tragic episode: Miss Burger, a girl from Chicago who had been Gordon's assistant since September, hung herself after trying to slash her throat. They have now learned that she had come from a mental hospital. She was a manic depressive. Gordon says: "The poor kid had been subject to the usual load of rumors. . ."
