Talks / Lectures

This subseries is composed of three major categories: 1) Retreat talks, 2) the "Woman" Course, and 3) Miscellaneous. The first category is made up of the transcribed retreat talks Fr. Van Ginneken gave for the Grail members at de Tiltenberg (the International Grail Center in Holland). It consists of 32 separate speeches and meditations. The "Woman" Course was presented, to the Grail members, less than a month after the retreat. The course also consisted of 32 lectures and dealt with the psychology of women. This course became the common base upon which the Grail and formation of new members was based. This course is incomplete, as of October 1984 lectures #27-29 are still missing. The Miscellaneous section consists of various speeches and lectures by Fr. van Ginneken. These talks are not tied as closely together as the retreat or course lectures but instead deal with a different aspect which early Grail leaders felt were essential for the development of members. All three sections contain the Dutch version and usually one or more English translations. The material is arranged numerically and chronologically by category.
