This site contains finding aids from the University of Notre Dame Archives and Rare Books & Special Collections. Collections are added as they are processed and made accessible to researchers. Please use this site to explore and discover our extraordinary collections of primary sources.
Quick search tips:
By default, the main search box uses OR as a search operator. If you want to find John Zahm, for example, search for John AND Zahm. For additional tips, see the help page.
Each finding aid contains a link to request materials from the collections in the Repository Details section. Each repository has its own location, hours, and policies for providing access to its collections. Please consult the repository with questions about using the materials. Collections are non-circulating and must be used in the repository’s reading room. Some finding aids contain digitized versions of all or parts of a collection, but in most cases viewing a collection in its entirety will require visiting the repository.
