Scope and Contents
This series primarily consists of letters from three members of the Nabokov Family. It also includes miscellaneous documents, photographs, and audiovisual materials collected by Professor Barabtarlo. Professor Barabtarlo corresponded with Nabokov's widow, VĂ©ra Evseevna Nabokov, from 1979-1990. Much of their correspondence relates to Professor Barabtarlo's translation of Nabokov's English language works into Russian, including his novel "Pnin", short stories, and biographical essays.
