Scope and Contents This collection contains the medieval documents (created prior to 1500 CE) owned by the Hesburgh Library which are not part of a discrete archival collection. That is to say, this is an artificial collection of medieval documents, grouped not by provenance, but by origin (medieval) and genre (diplomatics).
