Undoubtedly Edwards thinks that he has forgotten him but such is not the case. The reason is that he is just crazy over rowing. Since he came home he has spent all his time in the water and has not taken a meal with the family. He has not smoked and the folks think it is great. Louis Nash plays golf all day. Myers is going into the factory in September. :: XI-2-c A.L.S. 8pp.

Here he is again after his run-away. The doctors thought he would be laid up for six weeks. His father is sending a young fellow to Notre Dame and Dorrance will probably take him down. He was asked to be a pall-bearer at Bob Funk's funeral but he could not go on account of his hip. It is too bad for Bob, he had a bright future. Willie goes to Cornell next Saturday. :: XI-2-d A.L.S. 4pp.

He is back in Dubuque and lost only one day of work. George, Ad and Will leave tomorrow for New York and will pass through South Bend on Wednesday at 6 P.M. They will be glad to see Edwards at the train. :: XI-2-d A.L.S. 2pp.

He started to row as soon as he came home and last Friday they had a regatta. He has been a good boy since his return. Joseph Rowan still loves Miss Gray; he wants to get into the University of Pennsylvania.

He is waiting for Edwards so he should not disappoint the Myers family. They won races in the Iowa State Regatta. A band met them at the station when they returned and they were driven down Main St. in a carriage.

He has just come in from a long ride. He has not had much of a time since his return. He has been good and has quit society and the girls, etc.

He left Chicago last night and arrived home this morning. When he paid his bill he did not notice that two pairs of shoes were charged against him. He asks that Edwards see that they refund him $5. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 3pp.

He asks how can he write Father Morrissey and tell him about his $5 without the bill. He is getting anxious about his money. Nash seems to be enjoying life. Myers is thingking about going out to Craig, Colorado and if he does he will stay out there for some time. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

He has been busy rowing. In the local regatta he was lucky enough to make the crew for the state regatta and that took most of his time. They had a great time at the state meet but did not win. Their three girls, Mary, Emilie, and Tudie are away. Father Morrissey refunded his $5. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

They were having a great time camping. Mary came home from Ashville; she gained seven pounds. If Edwards can get there before the races it will be better for both of them. During the races he will be away from home most of the time. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

Edwards does not know how sorry they are not to have him with them today. But such is life. There is not much chance of his returning to Notre Dame. Edwards knows how he feels toward some people there. It will be a good thing for Notre Dame if he does not come back. If he goes to Michigan or Cornell he will stop at N.D. for a couple of hours to have a last look at the old place. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 5pp.

Pop said he is to be boss and that if D, goes to Michigan it would be against his will. D told him in that case he would go back to Notre Dame. He will go to Chicago to look for a job and if he finds anything worthwhile he will quit school at Christmas. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

He is real sore at having to return to Notre Dame. He blames Edwards for it. He asks that Edwards have Father James Ready, C.S.C. fix his room in Sorin. It is not his fault he is returning and it may not last long. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

He surprised the folks by coming home lat night. His father wants to be remembered to Edwards. All the family asked about him and were disappointed to hear that Edwards would not be there for Xmas and said that something unlooked for would happen and prevent his coming at all. :: XI-2-b A.L.S. 2pp.

He is mailing Edwards today two pictures of the baby Barbeau to make Edwards keep his word to write again. All are well. Nathalie has been ill in Washington; late letters say she is better. They expect Edwards this summer sure. :: XI-2-i A.L.S. 1p.

Edwards' letter was forwarded to him at Chicago where Ad is very ill and under the care of a specialist. He returned, leaving her improved, to take care of his father, Billy, and the business, also. :: XI-2-k L.S. (Typed) 1p.

When he came down to the office he found Edwards' letter and was greatly pleased. They will welcome Edwards anytime he comes. His wife is now fully recovered. Freddie Nash will be married in the fall. Dee is working hard and has not taken a drink for two years. :: XI-2-f A.L.S. 3pp.

He will offer no excuses for not writing. If nothing happens, he will meet Edwards in Chicago about the 17th. Mary has been home since before Easter. :: XI-1-i A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.

If Edwards does not write, he will still keep on. George does what he can to relieve his father. The family is in good health. :: XI-1-k A.L.S. 1p.

They were disappointed that Edwards could not be there. He leaves for New York Thursday and will spend some time with Edwards on his return. :: XI-1-k A.L.S. 1p.

Home again after his trip to New York. He regrets that he could not stop to see Edwards. He was sick in bed while in New York. :: XI-1-k A.L.S. 2pp.

They are leaving for Omaha to spend Christmas and also to be at Fred Nash's wedding. He is glad to receive Edwards' letters notwithstanding the fact that many months elapse before he answers them. They hope he will pay them frequent visits. :: XI-2-f A.L.S. 2pp.

His father is giving him permission to visit Notre Dame, he asks when is the best time, now or at commencement. :: XI-1-f A.L.S. 2pp. 12mo.

He thinks Edwards has treated him shamefully. He has not seen Edwards since before he went to Europe. They are all well at home. Grandma improves slowly. He may be married before Edwards comes out there. :: XI-1-h A.L.S. 3pp. 12mo.

He expected a letter every day but none came. He will expect him for Christmas. :: XI-1-k A.L.S. 2pp.

Edwards sent only two pages of a letter; he must have sent the rest to somebody else. He was surprised to learn that Ed Darragh aspired to a seat in Congress. :: XI-1-l A.L.S. 3pp.

Last summer when Edwards' letter written while he was abroad came, he was greatly pleased. He deeply appreciates the warm friendship Edwards has for him. He is ashamed that he has not written before this. When he received the medal Sunday, he felt more guilty than ever. He wants Edwards to visit him. :: XI-1-m A.L.S. 3pp.

Still toiling on the road. He will be home Easter and may not go out any more. Gus August A. Cooper is increasing his father's business. Gus is in charge of the office and his brother Will of the factory. Ed Dillion is dying slowly. Will Greenhow is making a success of his plumbing business. Lew Parker is doing well at law in Chicago. He is glad to hear such good news concerning Dorrance. George would wager his all on Dorrance's doing what is right. He sent him for Edwards the doll his mother had dressed in the ragalia of the Sisters of Charity. They expect Edwards without fail during the holidays. :: XI-1-o A.L.S. 2pp.

He enjoyed Edwards' visit immensely and expects to have him with the soon again. He sends his compliments to all his friends at Notre Dame. :: XI-2-f A.L.S. 1p.
