Mrs. Rhodius and Mrs. Roesch received the invitations to the commencement, but not George. They keep theirs from George until he receives his. Mrs. Orsbach cannot live much longer. The doctors gave her up last Saturday. The tumor will soon reach her heart. George Rhodius is doing well and is nice to all except his mother. Edwards' letter received. George Rhodius got Edwards' letter and wire and seemed very happy. His throat is much better but he has Malaria fever. Mrs. Ritz, former Mrs. Hicks is to be the housekeeper. Rhodius had a scene with that D. woman who is cut out for good; they persuaded Rhodius to leave. The Mausoleum is nearing completion. :: XI-2-i A.L.S. 2pp.

Mrs. Roesch is getting better after two weeks illness. Babetti King, the sister of Marie Rhodius died of softening of the brain on Sept. 8. Her daughter Anna Eden writes about the $25 monthly support. The payment will cease, the amount going over to Berryhill, guardian of George Rhodius. Joe Emminger went to see George who acted unnatural and strange. Nothing further was done to annual the marriage. Lawyer Spaan arrived from Europe on Wednesday. :: XI-2-j A.L.S. 2pp.

He wanted to give Edwards the court decision in the Scholz matter. Scholz lost the suit and their Mr. John W. Claypool was again victorious. He will send the details of the trial. As soon as the Greenfield decision is given by Judge Mason he will let Edwards know all about it. It took 12 days for the evidence on both sides. Saturday the argument preceeds the decision. All looks well for them so far. They are sorry Edwards was not there with them. :: XI-2-l A.L.S. 1p.

He did not see George Rhodius � Rhodius and Mr. Beck were out automobiling. Mrs. Bertha Balke and Fante Balke were disappointed not to see Edwards. He tried to see Rhodius but a number of things prevented him. The Dare lawyers made motion for a new trial in Greenfield; the argument is next week. :: XI-2-l A.L.S. 1p.
