Scope Note: Betacam SX was a digital version of Betacam SP, and was introduced in 1996 by Sony. It was positioned as a cheaper alternative to Digital Betacam. Tape shells are bright yellow; small cassettes measure 15.6 cm × 9.6 cm × 2.5 cm.
