Scope Note: Betacam SX was a digital version of Betacam SP, and was introduced in 1996 by Sony. It was positioned as a cheaper alternative to Digital Betacam. Tape shells are bright yellow; large cassettes measure 25.4 cm × 14.5 cm × 2.5 cm.
