Richard Cardinal Cushing, Archbishop of Boston, received some 1,000 guests at the Pontifical North American College, Rome, before returning to the United States at the close of Consistory ceremonies. Among the guests were these representatives of the Little Sisters of St. Francis, and the Franciscan Missionary Sisters for Africa, and order founded by the famed Mother Kevin.
