From the notes of Dr. Catherine Perry: According to Claude Mignot-Ogliastri, this sonnet is the first Noailles wrote, “écrit un jour de beautemps,” perhaps February 1895. She sent it to Marcel Mielvaque. This manuscript might be the one that Mielvaque owned.
