He then turns to the fall of Richmond, which he believes "will not end the Rebellion and I hope to God if the powers at Washington still persist in a prosectuion of the war and in this determination to hang the Rebel heads that they will fiercely dispute every inch of ground and make every sod a soldiers sepulchere before submitting to such ignominy[.]" He continues to rail...
