Natalia A. and Irina V. Roskina Papers
The collection includes over 240 items. Among the manuscripts of both N. A. Roskina and I. V. Roskina are unpublished poems and stories as well as memoirs of such major literary figures as Anna Akhmatova, Kornei Chukovskii, and Samuil Marshak. The correspondence of both mother and daughter range from personal letters with family members to letters exchanged with leading cultural figures. Finally, there are 50 photographs portraying family and friends from the 1920s to the end of the 20th century.
Irina V. Roskina provided transcriptions and commentary, which are included in the appropriate folders and sections of the collection. She also provided digital copies and transcriptions of Natalia A. Roskina material, the originals of which are in the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art in Moscow, and digital copies of Aleksandr Galich material, the originals of which are in the archives in Bremen, Germany.

Irina V. Roskina dated these manuscript poems of her mother as being from 1945 through the 1950s. Most of the poems are undated; however, those that do bear a date fall within those parameters.

Letters are arranged chronologically, and the chronology is based upon the organization of Irina V. Roskina. In her transcription of the letters (see Folder 26), even when a letter is undated, she was able to indicate the year of the letter.

In her transcription / commentary, Irina V. Roskina indicated that both grandmothers, Vera L. Roskina and Roza N. Rabinovich lived in Leningrad, and it is not clear which of the two grandmosthers sent the telegram of congratulations.
