Photocopies of fifteen sheets of letters to the editor published in The Tablet over a number of consecutive weeks showing various readers' opinions regarding previously published letters from Lord Acton (Sir John Dalberg-Acton, 1st Baron Acton, 1834-1902). These were originaly filed with the contents of MSE/MD 3824-195 and 196, "Articles by Maude Petre," who appears as a correspondent in the Tablet letters.
