Scope and Contents
The notebook is entitled "In Morgins' ark" (V kovchege Morzhenskogo potopa). It is divided into seven parts, each with its own title. 1. "Under the downpour of Morgins" (Pod livnem Morzhena), 2. "The wolf and the two red hats" (Volk i dve krasnye shapochki), 3. "Inias and Dora Kunts from Nyon (Inias i Dora Kunts iz Nyona), 4. "At the green lake: or the second red hat" (U zelenogo ozera ili vtoraia krasnaia shapochka), 5. "In Paris of Victor Hugo and Esmeralda" (V Parizhe Viktora Giugo i Esmeraldy), 6 "From Morgins to Mayens and Nyon with Dora" (Ot Morzhena do Maiena s Dora), 7. "Switzerland Again 1912" (Opiat Shveitsaria 1912).These parts represent a collection of Rusudana's memoirs about Switzerland and France from 1901 to 1912. Her focus is on French literature, her acquaintances, and her French and Swiss friends: Inias Varshavskii, Amedei Caulin, and Dora Kunz.
