Scope and Contents

The postcards depict three members of the Asociación Católica de la Juventud Mexicana from León, Guanajuato executed during the Cristero Rebellion (3 January 1927): José Valencia Gallardo, whose tongue was cut out in response to his cry of ¡Viva Cristo Rey!, Salvador Vargas, and Ezequiel Gómez.
