Biographical / Historical

Wilson Ferreira (1919-1988) was a politican considered to be the leader of the Partido Nacional (Blanco), specifically the radical Por la Patria faction, from the 1970s until his death in 1988. In 1973, he exiled himself from Uruguay and became an outspoken censor of the military dictatorship. He was arrested upon his return from exile in 1984.
