64 leaves with content. Contains clippings from sporting journals like the New York Clipper, Sporting Life, Mirror of American Sports, and others, as well clippings from major metropolitan daily newspapers mostly from Cincinnati, New York and Chicago, along with other cities represented. Page 63 includes a program from the 1884 Keystone Ball Club of Philadelphia that competed in the short-lived Union Association. Pages 154 and 155 contain a letter signed by National League President Abraham G. Mills discussing a monument for the grave of William Hulbert, former National League President. The inside back cover includes an printed image of Hulbert's grave, and the inside front cover includes a printed image of Abraham G. Mills on a baseball.
