The 1887 Bridgeport vs. Buffalo scorecard records an exhibxition game between Bridgeport of the Eastern league and Buffalo of the International League that occured on 4/20/1887.

In the pre-printed lineup for Buffalo, "Grant, 2B" is the lead-off hitter. Frank Grant, was one of the earliest African Americans to play in organized baseball when he competed for Buffalo from 1886-1888. Underneath Grant's name, an unknown person has written "Negro," and the same unknown hand wrote on the back of the scorecard "Frank Grant 2B, one of the first Negroes to play in organized baseball!"
